Cox, MMA and New Jersey. 3 of my favorite things. That’s right folks, Monte Cox is bringing “Extreme Challenge” to the Jersey Shore on January 23rd. “Hey”, you might say. “That’s Ring of Combat territory friend-o!” I feel you dog. However, this “War at the Shore” card sounds pretty f’n sweet; featuring one of my favorite lightweights, Eddie Alvarez, Elite XC’s first and last bantamweight champ, Wilson Reis, and top-ranked female fighter, Tara Larosa. Compare that to what Ring of Combat’s got goin’ on for their upcoming show on February 20th.
IF I decide to take a trip all the way out to A.C. to gamble away $ I don’t have, bone some hookers, do tons of blow and catch a MMA event within the next 2 months, guess which event I’m goin’ to.
PS: If you guessed Ring of Combat XXIII, you are incorrect.
